A wiki is a great platform to get information cataloged and organized.
Everybody likes facts and figures and more information about topics.

Let take for example a drop through longboard (just some relative random term – I know something about these things, so its not fully random just to give some disclosure 😉

You can talk about many aspect of a board with that name.

Here a quote from

A drop through longboard has a cutout in the deck, allowing the base-plates of the trucks to be mounted through the deck. This puts the longboard deck closer to the ground and this the lowered platform allows for greater stability at high speeds. Great for freeride and all round longboarders. Looking for a cheap drop through longboard deck or a slightly higher priced complete you will find it. The drop though longboard is one of the types of boards that have seen a growing interest over the last couple of years and are among the most popular longboards around. Many drop through longboards are used as a freeride longboard.

If you analyze the text you can find attributes and details like:

  • cutout in deck
  • mounted through the deck
  • closer to ground
  • greater stability
  • great for freeride
  • for all around longboarding
  • cheap, or higher priced
  • one of the types
  • growing interest
  • popular longboards

if you dig a bit wider you can probably add things like

  • symmetrical shape
  • number of ply
  • flex
  • wheels/trucks
  • center of gravity
  • rocker
  • length
  • width
  • type of griptape
  • material – maple, bamboo
  • color and design
  • activities to do with board
  • weight
  • ….

As you can see it is pretty easy to start with a simple word or article like “Drop Down Longboard” and quickly get to all kind of referring words you can start writing about.

for each of these words you can probably do the same and before you know it you have spun a web of words good enough to fill a couple of wiki’s around the web.

What is your base words and give me some example what you can do with them??
